Security Gates & Grilles
Prospect Locks offers a variety of security gates and grilles for windows and doors throughout Kent and East Sussex.
Our gates are designed to give you the security you desire but in such a way to allow the grilles to blend in with you home or work environment.
Retractable Window Grilles
The collapsible window gates are designed so that once opened, they give a maximum unobstucted area across the window. they can be supplied with the lock to the left or right of the window aperture, or centrally locked and retracting each way.
The lock supplied as standard on the gates is a 7 pin tubular lock. Once the gate is in the closed position, you simply push the barrel to lock the gate. There is an anti-jemmy strip fixed to the outside to stop any forced attacks.
The gates are manufactured in Galvanised steel, and either Black or White in colour as standard but can also be suppied in other colours if required.
Retractable Door Gates
The collapible door gates are designed on the same principle as the window grilles but with slight modifications. The main change being the choice to have the bottom track either removable or lifting to one side to give an unobstructed walkway through the door opening.
Another difference, due to the extra height, is that they are supplied with 2 locks as standard. There is also an option to upgrade to an Adamsrite hook lock as this can be locked from outside as you leave the building.
Again, the door gates are supplied either Black or White, but have the same colour options as the window grilles.
Hinged Bar Gates
All of our hinged gates can be made to measure so as to suit all openings and are a permanant security solution for doors.
They are supplied as standard with a Chubb 3G114E mortice deadlock for insurance purposes.
You have the choice at time of ordering to have scrolls added to the gate to give it a more decorative look and cutouts can be made to accommodate letterboxes and/or handles.
